Complete tables that fold

A folding acrylic table is a complete table whose top and support move between use and storage positions. One floor-standing design has a removable acrylic tray on a folding acrylic frame. Another has an acrylic top on a folding metal base. A wall-mounted drop leaf folds against the wall on its bracket and suitable fixings. Each design needs its own moving joints, stops and complete parts list. Importers and brands can compare open and folded sizes, the way the parts fit together and the protected carton for the finished model.
Our Products

All-Acrylic Folding Tray Tables
A removable clear acrylic tray sits on a matching floor-standing acrylic frame. The frame folds flat when the tray is lifted off.

Acrylic-Top Metal-Base Folding Tables
A clear acrylic top rests on a metal floor-standing frame that folds flat for storage.

Wall-Mounted Folding Acrylic Tables
A clear acrylic drop-leaf top folds against the wall on a mounting plate and hinged bracket. The wall and anchors support the open table.

Feature Box
Consistent Folding Action and Finish
A folding acrylic table needs to look right and move as its sample does. We compare the hinge or pivot, open stop, top position and visible finish with the complete approved table during production. These checks can reveal a stiff joint, loose fit or finish difference before packing. They also give your team a practical reference for later batches of the same design.
A Schedule Built Around the Mechanism
A folding acrylic table involves acrylic work and moving hardware. Once the top, frame or wall bracket, fittings and pack are agreed, we plan dates for components, trial assembly, inspection and packing. Your team can see the planned dispatch status for the actual design and quantity. A proposed change to a hinge, support or carton can then be reviewed against that schedule before you set a launch date.
Competitive Factory Pricing
Factory-direct production removes intermediary markups from a folding acrylic table project. We review the design for practical manufacture and compare suitable top materials, folding supports, processes, assembly states and protective packs. This helps avoid unnecessary cost while keeping the approved action and finish. Order quantity, parts count, folded carton size and shared components between versions all affect the batch quote. You can compare the cost of complete floor-standing and wall-mounted options on the same basis.
Manufacturing Process

Electronic Saw Cutting
We cut the acrylic top, tray or support pieces to the approved drawing for the complete table.

Cutting and CNC Machining
We machine the tabletop shape and connection points needed for the folding support.

Edge Polishing and Forming
We polish exposed rims and edges and check their clearance from moving parts.

Printing and Engraving
We print or engrave agreed branding or model marks away from the folding joints.

Hot bending
When a design uses bent acrylic, we heat and shape that part in a fixture, let it cool in place and check its fit.

Bonding
For bonded acrylic pieces, we check the seam and its clearance from the hinge or pivot.

Quality Inspection
We check open and folded positions, support fit, supplied fittings, visible finish and complete-set contents for each model.

Protective Packing
We keep folded supports and hardware away from clear faces and identify the parts of each complete table.
Application

Folding action accepted — United Kingdom, October 2022
Project: In October 2022, a furniture brand in the United Kingdom ordered a folding acrylic table made of clear PMMA, with a tray top. A candidate complete table measured 19 × 13 × 23 in when open. Client’s Concern: Stiff movement or an open position unlike the sample could lead to returns and replacement requests, raising service costs. Solution: We compared complete tables with the sample when open and folded, corrected the moving connection where needed, and checked the action again before packing. Result: The folding issue was resolved for the agreed configuration. The brand accepted the corrected action and approved the model for its planned release.

Fold-flat pack and quote approved — United States, July 2024
Project: In July 2024, a furniture importer in the United States ordered a folding acrylic table with side handles. The candidate’s complete open size was 19 in wide × 15 in deep × 22 in high. Client’s Concern: A bulky or poorly protected pack could raise distribution costs, while a factory quote based on the wrong carton could reduce resale margin. Solution: We compared protected fold-flat packs and supplied matching carton measurements, weight and factory prices. Result: The pack-and-price question was resolved for the chosen option. The importer approved its specification and quote before production.

Promotion allocation revised — Australia, September 2021
Project: In September 2021, a furniture distributor in Australia ordered clear folding acrylic tables for a planned promotion. A candidate complete open table measured 20.25 in wide × 15.25 in long × 24.5 in high and folded flat. Client’s Concern: Without a reliable factory release date, the distributor could allocate stock that was not ready and change its promotion late. Solution: We checked production and packing against the requested release window, identified the affected batch and sent revised dates before stock allocation. Result: The release-date uncertainty was resolved for that batch. The distributor accepted the dates and adjusted its promotion plan.

FAQ
See the complete table move from its usable position to storage and back. Identify the top, support, hinge or pivot, stops and any removable parts. A table that only comes apart for shipping is a knockdown model. For a wall-mounted design, include the bracket and wall conditions in the demonstration.
A removable tray helps when your channel wants separate handling or a nested set, as long as it sits securely on its matching folding frame. A fixed top may be simpler to sell as one unit. Compare how staff set up, move and repack the complete table. Confirm which tray and frame are sold together; a tray from another version may not fit.
Confirm the complete wall-mounted model, its open and folded positions, the wall construction, fixing method and who will install it. The wall and anchors carry the load, so a photo of the tabletop cannot establish suitability at a site. Have the project team review the wall and assembly before ordering. Any load or use claim needs evidence for that specific installed model.
Show the open top size and working height, the open floor or wall footprint, and the depth and height when folded. Say whether the tray detaches and whether the folded measurement includes the frame or bracket. These figures help distributors plan storage and help buyers avoid a space where the table cannot fully open. Measure the approved complete model in both positions.
Check the specific table for its intended use: how easily it opens, where the support stops, how it closes, whether joints loosen and where wear appears. Compare a complete sample with the approved drawing and hardware list. If your channel needs a cycle or load claim, agree on the test method and pass criteria for that model before publishing a number. Looking at the surface alone cannot establish durability.
List every part of the complete selling unit: tray or top, frame or bracket, feet, hinges, fasteners and instructions for that model. Count the parts during packing and mark separate cartons as one set if necessary. Unpack a sample set to check that staff can find every part before a batch is shipped.
Folding can reduce storage size, but shipping cost depends on the protected carton size, weight, number of parts and handling needed. Compare complete open and folded designs using those actual figures. Extra separators may be needed between hardware and clear surfaces. A landed-cost comparison should cover equally protected selling units, not just tabletop dimensions.
Starting quantities are typically 50–200 complete tables; the minimum depends on the approved mechanism, materials, hardware and pack. Sample production is typically 3–7 days after complete specifications and commercial details are confirmed. Bulk production is typically 10–35 days after sample approval and agreement on quantities, components and packing. For a wall-mounted design, confirm the bracket, fixing scope and installation responsibility before setting its schedule.
