Custom Acrylic Stool

Work with a custom acrylic stool manufacturer that reviews your design, intended setting, seat height, structure, materials, sample, packing, and repeat-order needs before production.

  • We have manufactured custom acrylic products since 2011 for furniture brands, wholesalers, retailers, and project buyers.
  • Before bulk release, we review the functional sample for fit, sitting structure, footrest, assembly, appearance, and packing.
  • When formal performance evidence is required, the approved configuration can be submitted to a professional third-party laboratory for the agreed checks.

Develop an Acrylic Stool Range for Your Brand or Project

Pink velvet acrylic X frame bench
Chrome bar stools with black and white upholstered seats

We develop acrylic stools for furniture and Kitchen & Dining brands, importers, wholesalers, vanity collections, hospitality buyers, and contract projects. Start with a drawing, reference sample, or intended setting. We review seat height, table clearance, the seat and leg structure, backrests, footrests, upholstery, material interfaces, assembly, testing needs, and packing. Market terms such as Lucite stool or Plexiglass stool may describe a similar clear look, but the approved specification must name the actual material in every component. Counter, bar, clear, and vanity designs are classified by their real dimensions, structure, material, and use. The approved drawing, sample, BOM, finish reference, and inspection points then provide one working basis for bulk production and replenishment.

Feature Box

FEATURE 01

Match the Stool to the Furniture Around It

A well-specified acrylic stool starts with the furniture around it. We review the installed counter, bar, table, or vanity height, then define the actual seat height, cushion compression, knee room, footrest position, and overall proportions. Those decisions are placed in the released drawing and production-intent sample. Your team can try the sample in the intended setting before the height name, SKU, label, and bulk specification are approved. This reduces avoidable fit errors, mismatched listings, and height-related returns.

FEATURE 02

Review the Entire Sitting Structure

A seat cannot be assessed on its own. The side panels or legs, base, joints, footrest, backrest, glides, hardware, upholstery, and any swivel or adjustable mechanism work as one configuration. We review how users sit down, rise, shift off-center, rest their feet, and interact with the floor. The production-intent sample is checked against the criteria agreed for that drawing. This gives product and quality teams a clear validation plan without treating one test or one component as proof for every design.

FEATURE 03

Balance Packing Cost with Product Protection

Packing affects landed cost, presentation, assembly, and returns. An assembled design may use more carton space; a knock-down or stackable design may add hardware, friction, hole stress, or installation risk. We compare the actual structure, destination, receiving method, surface protection, component separation, instructions, labels, carton limits, and replacement needs. The approved packing sample gives purchasing teams a practical basis for comparing freight and handling with product protection, assembly effort, and after-sales exposure.

APPLICATION 01

Canadian Furniture Brand — November 2024 — Counter-Height Stool

Project: In November 2024, a Canadian furniture brand ordered an acrylic counter stool measuring 430 × 460 × 900 mm with a 650 mm seat height, 10 mm clear side panels, and a footrest centered 230 mm below the seat. Challenge: a small change in seat or footrest position made the acrylic stool feel different beside a standard counter. Solution: JFM used Ø6.6 mm clearance holes for M6 footrest bolts, held the left and right hole centers to ±0.5 mm, and checked the seat and footrest in one assembly fixture. Result: every acrylic stool kept the seat height within ±1.5 mm, the footrest remained level within 1 mm, and both sides accepted the same hardware.

APPLICATION 02

United States Hospitality Buyer — June 2025 — Metal-Base Bar Stool

Project: In June 2025, a hospitality buyer in the United States ordered an acrylic bar stool measuring 420 × 460 × 1050 mm with a 750 mm seat height, a 10 mm formed shell, and a metal base. Challenge: the acrylic stool shell and base were made in separate processes, so four shifted mounting points pulled the seat off center. Solution: JFM used four M8 bolts through Ø9 mm clearance holes on a 180 × 180 mm pattern, added 60 × 40 × 3 mm stainless backing plates, and trial-assembled every first piece. Result: the approved acrylic stool remained centered within 1 mm, all four bolts entered without panel stress, and replacement bases fitted the same pattern.

APPLICATION 03

Australian Vanity Furniture Retailer — March 2026 — Upholstered Stool

Project: In March 2026, an Australian vanity furniture retailer ordered an upholstered acrylic stool measuring 25.25 × 18.5 × 21.25 in. The cushion measured 19.5 × 18.5 × 5 in, and the clear base used 12 mm acrylic with 4 in floor clearance. Challenge: the cushion had to remain centered without fasteners showing through the acrylic stool base. Solution: JFM installed four M6 threaded inserts on a 380 × 300 mm pattern, drilled Ø6.6 mm clearance holes from the hidden underside, and used 2 mm clear isolation pads below the cushion frame. Result: the cushion stayed centered within 1.5 mm, the mounting hardware remained hidden, and each acrylic stool accepted the same replacement cushion frame.

FAQ

Start with the way the table will actually be used. Note what guests may place on it, how often staff will move it, and whether it stands on carpet or hard flooring. Ask for stability and load information for the exact design, because sheet thickness alone does not answer those questions. Place the sample in a real or mock-up room and let the operations team use it before approving wider installation.

Show the relationship between the table and the seating, not just a list of overall dimensions. Include the tabletop height beside the armrest, the usable surface, and the floor space required. For a C-shaped model, add the clearance beneath the sofa and the reach over the seat. Photographs beside realistically sized furniture and a short measuring guide help customers rule out a poor fit before ordering.

Provide care instructions that match the actual acrylic and finish. Standard uncoated acrylic is usually cleaned with a soft damp cloth, mild soap, and lukewarm water. Dry rubbing, abrasive pads, and unapproved glass cleaners or solvents can damage the surface. Confirm cleaner compatibility when a hotel or commercial team uses disinfectants. Put the same guidance in the carton and the online listing so staff and customers receive one clear routine.

Add storage when there is a clear item that guests or customers need to keep within reach. Test the shelf or drawer with those items and check access from a seated position. On clear acrylic furniture, stored objects remain visible and can quickly look untidy. Compare a furnished storage sample with an open version before extending the range. The useful option should solve a real need without weakening the clean appearance buyers expect.

Use wheels when staff genuinely need to change a layout or move a shared occasional table. Test rolling effort, noise, floor protection, and the locks on the actual flooring, including rug transitions. Check stability with the intended items in place and decide whether the table must be unloaded before moving. If it will stay beside one chair, fixed feet may be simpler and leave fewer parts for the operations team to maintain.

Check the specific record players the table is meant to hold. Their feet, open dust covers, plugs, cable routes, and operating weight can change the usable space. Ask for suitable load information for the proposed table and test playback where normal foot traffic might cause movement. If the design also stores records, assess that weight separately. Publish the verified dimensions and limits so buyers can judge compatibility before purchase.

Begin with a few designs that do different jobs, such as a sofa table, a bedside option, and a storage model. Use sales history or retailer feedback to set the first mix. Test new colors and shapes in smaller quantities before expanding them. Review sell-through, returns, and margin by SKU instead of using total collection sales alone. Replenish proven designs and keep experimental variants at a level the channel can realistically support.

Look at the finished piece in the same conditions your customer will see. Check its proportions beside seating, the edge finish, visible joints, reflections, and the feel of common contact points. Photograph the sample under normal showroom and product-photography lighting. Then compare it with alternatives at the intended selling price. A premium position needs a convincing product experience and presentation; higher material cost on its own is not enough.
