Manufacturing Process
Electronic Saw Cutting
We saw-cut the acrylic work surface, supports and integrated parts to the approved part list, retaining protective film where suitable.
Cutting and CNC Machining
CNC work follows the drawing for shaped edges, approved cable openings, connection holes and insert seats that must meet the desk’s mating parts.
Edge Polishing and Forming
We finish exposed edges to the selected profile and compare the corners and transitions with the approved sample.
Printing and Engraving
Logos and identification marks are printed or engraved only where the approved artwork and component specification call for them.
Hot bending
Only when the approved desk has a formed acrylic support or return do we heat that part evenly, shape it in a dedicated jig and cool it in place. We then check the radius, surface and assembly fit.
Bonding
For designs with bonded acrylic joints, fixtures hold the mating parts while the bond sets. Mechanically joined desks use their specified brackets and fasteners.
Quality Inspection
We inspect each acrylic office desk against its sample for component materials, dimensions, visible finish, connection fit and any integrated storage, then check a complete trial assembly.
Protective Packing

Client’s Concern: Mating holes or loose parts that differed from the approved desk could prevent assembly, forcing warehouse sorting and customer replacements.
Solution: JFM checked the work-surface and stretcher holes against the side supports, assembled a complete desk and packed acrylic apart from metal. Bolts and pads stayed in the identified hardware bag.

Project: In July 2025, a Canadian office-furniture brand ordered a desk with a glass work surface, clear acrylic supports and metal joining brackets.
Client’s Concern: A changed material or visible bracket position would make production desks look different from the approved sample, delaying the brand’s product release.
Solution: JFM identified the glass, acrylic and metal separately on the component drawing, fixed each bracket location and assembled a complete desk from production parts. Glass and acrylic went into separate marked pack sections.

Project: In March 2024, a United Kingdom wholesaler ordered acrylic office desks with wooden two-drawer units, clear supports, metal runners and matching fasteners.
Client’s Concern: A drawer unit or runner fitted to the wrong desk version could bind below the work surface, leaving unsellable desks or prompting replacement requests.

Specify one complete sellable desk: its work surface, supports or base, integrated storage if required, connectors, feet and packing. Name the actual material of every part; for example, a glass work surface on acrylic supports remains a mixed-material design. The drawing and bill of materials should also state who supplies each component and whether the quoted unit arrives assembled or as a complete KD set.
Send one drawing or reference image with finished dimensions, quantities by design and a material list for each component. Add the visible finish, storage or cable details, fittings, assembly format, branding, packing, destination and target production milestones. Ask suppliers to quote that same complete-desk scope. Your purchasing team can then see which design or packing differences change the factory offer.
The starting MOQ is 50–200 complete desks; the applicable quantity is confirmed for each approved design and specification. Sample production is normally 3–7 days after the drawing or reference, materials, appearance, hardware, assembly, packing and commercial details are confirmed. For several desk designs, send a separate quantity for each so JFM can confirm the minimum, sample scope and start date in its quotation.
Approve a complete assembled desk or a matched KD sample. Check its dimensions, the actual material and finish of each component, visible edges, connections, fittings and any specified drawer or shelf operation. Trial assembly should show how the parts meet and in what sequence. Record the sample against a dated drawing, bill of materials and packing version before releasing bulk production.
We compare first pieces, work in progress and finished desks with the approved sample, drawing and bill of materials. Checks cover visible surfaces, connection fit, hardware, storage operation where specified and complete carton contents. If a material, fitting or packing method changes, JFM records a revised version and asks you to approve the effect on price and production planning before the affected batch proceeds.
You can order assembled desks or complete knock-down (KD) sets when the approved structure allows it. Set the format during sampling because it affects trial assembly, carton size, hardware bags, instructions and price. For KD supply, the packing list identifies each work-surface, support, storage and connection part by model and set. Visible acrylic and other finished materials are protected from loose fittings for receiving.
Bulk production is typically scheduled for 10–35 days after you approve the desk sample and drawing, quantities by design, component materials, hardware, assembly format, packing and commercial terms. The exact schedule depends on configuration and order complexity. The order confirmation sets the approval cut-off and milestones for material readiness, production, inspection and packing. A later component or quantity change calls for an updated plan for the affected work.
For a repeat order, cite the earlier purchase order and the approved sample, drawing, bill of materials, finish codes, connection fittings, storage, labels and packing version. Give quantities by design and list requested changes. JFM can then compare the new order with the released configuration and confirm the production plan, seeking fresh approval for any revised component or package before making the next batch.
