Complete Transparent Chairs for Trade Programs

Choose the complete chair first: seat, back, legs or base, connections, feet, optional upholstery and the packed assembly all belong in one quote. On a clear acrylic chair, the transparent seat or back may be PMMA while the base is metal or wood. We name the material of each part in the bill of materials, so a similar-looking PC component cannot quietly replace PMMA. Your drawing or sample sets the visible tone, edge detail and fit to approve before we price the production version.
For broader design and finish choices, see our custom acrylic chairs. If your project needs a desk-height swivel model, compare our acrylic office chair; for raised seating, review the acrylic counter stool.
Our Products

Clear Acrylic Dining Chairs
Compare complete dining chairs by transparent seat and back, leg material, foot detail, upholstery and carton format. For dining-specific options, see the dedicated clear dining chair range.

Clear Acrylic Office Chairs
An office model needs its seat and back specified alongside the base, height mechanism, casters and controls. Quote the assembled working chair and its pack as one configuration.

Clear Acrylic Event / Banquet Chairs
For event or banquet orders, agree on the complete chair finish, floor-contact parts and quantity per carton. A common appearance reference helps a multi-chair shipment look consistent.

Clear Acrylic Folding Chairs
Check the hinge and latch design with the folded chair, not just the open profile. Confirm the clear parts, contact protection and folded carton size before approving the sample.

Clear Acrylic Armchairs
Set the arm profile and its visible connections together with the seat, back and base material. This makes the finished appearance and assembly scope clear at quotation stage.

Clear Acrylic Lounge Chairs
Define the full lounge chair silhouette, the transparent components and any cushion as one product. The finished form and protected carton should match the approved version.
Customization Range

Chair Size and Overall Size
Put overall and seat dimensions on the chair drawing, including arm height where applicable. These measurements identify the finished model and inform its carton.

Acrylic Material Type
Specify PMMA grade and thickness for each transparent seat, back, arm or leg component. List metal, wood, fabric and other materials under their own part names.

Office Desk Structure and Use
Select the intended complete chair type and show how the seat, back and supports connect. The drawing should also state whether the order ships assembled or as a full KD set.

Surface Treatment
Approve the tone and visible faces of the PMMA components. Record upholstery color, metal finish or opaque details separately so the sample represents the actual mixed-material chair.

Edge and Corner Finish
Identify the edges a buyer will see and touch: seat front, back perimeter, arm ends and exposed corners. The sample sets the finish for those locations.

Branding and Personalization
Place logos, item labels and carton marks on the agreed parts or packaging. Confirm artwork and reading direction with the sample and final pack.

Hardware and Assembly
Count inserts, bolts, brackets, glides, casters and upholstery fasteners against the mating parts. For KD delivery, include the correct hardware pack and assembly instructions for each chair.

Packaging and Presentation
Choose assembled or KD packing, then decide how clear faces, corners and loose hardware are separated. Specify the carton label and retail or project presentation needed at receiving.
Feature Box
Consistent Quality from Sample to Bulk
A clear acrylic chair has highly visible edges, joints and surface marks. We use the approved sample to set those appearance points alongside the actual materials, feet and assembly fit. First pieces and finished chairs are compared with that standard before packing, giving buyers a consistent basis for batch acceptance.
Reliable Production and Delivery Planning
Production timing for a clear acrylic chair program becomes useful once the design, material list, quantities and pack are agreed. We schedule component making, purchased hardware, trial assembly and carton preparation against the order milestones. When a choice changes, we update its cost and affected production dates before proceeding.
Competitive Factory Pricing
Factory-direct supply removes an intermediary layer. We review the clear acrylic chair design for efficient cutting, forming and joining, then compare workable PMMA, support, hardware, assembly and protective-pack options while preserving the approved look and fit. Quantity per model, assembled versus KD supply and carton volume shape the resulting factory quote. The buyer can choose a complete configuration that meets the target channel and budget.
Manufacturing Process

Electronic Saw Cutting
Cut PMMA components for the approved chair pattern, keeping the visible faces protected and each part identified for assembly.

Cutting and CNC Machining
Machine the seat and back profiles and any connection features to the released drawing, so each part meets its intended hardware.

Edge Polishing and Forming
Polish exposed edges to the sample finish and check transitions around the seat, back and arms.

Printing and Engraving
Apply approved logos or item marks only to the specified chair part or label, at the agreed size and position.

Hot bending
When a PMMA chair component is designed with a bend, heat it evenly, form its approved angle or radius in a dedicated jig, and let it cool in that jig. Check the resulting shape, symmetry, surface and assembly fit. A mechanically assembled chair does not require this step.

Bonding
Use the specified bond only on chair designs with bonded PMMA joints. Position mating parts in fixtures while it sets; mechanically joined designs follow their approved hardware schedule.

Quality Inspection
Inspect material identity, visible tone and edges, joint position, hardware count and assembly fit against the approved chair sample.

Protective Packing
Keep clear faces apart from metal parts and loose hardware, then check the finished chair or KD set against its pack list and carton label.
Application

Clear Chairs Kept Their Approved Finish and Glides — Furniture Importer, United States, June 2023
Project: In June 2023, a United States furniture importer ordered chairs with clear acrylic seats and backs, metal leg frames and four floor glides per chair.
Client’s Concern: Uneven exposed edges or missing glides could make chairs look mismatched or incomplete at sale, creating rework and replacement requests.
Solution: JFM compared the acrylic edges and metal finish with the approved chair, kept the materials distinct in the component list, fitted four glides to each assembled chair and protected the clear faces from frame contact.
Result: The chairs kept the approved edge and frame appearance with four glides fitted, and the importer accepted them without rework.

Canada — July 2025: Brand Sample Matched to the Production Chair
Project: A Canadian furniture brand ordered chairs with a clear acrylic back and arms, an upholstered seat, and a metal base in July 2025.
Client’s Concern: A different upholstery finish or a back that sat poorly on the base would make bulk chairs depart from the design sample. That could delay launch or require visible parts to be replaced.
Solution: We identified each material separately, fixed edge and upholstery appearance references, and checked the back-to-base fit on a complete assembled sample before using those references for production.
Result: The finished chairs matched the approved clear back, upholstery, and base fit. The brand received one coordinated chair version rather than mixed finishes or misfitting parts that would delay its launch.

Complete Chair Kits Passed the Wholesaler's Receiving Check — Furniture Wholesaler, Australia, October 2021
Project: In October 2021, an Australian furniture wholesaler ordered flat-packed clear acrylic chairs. Each set had a seat, back, metal base, four glides and a fastener pouch.
Client’s Concern: Similar transparent parts or loose hardware could be mixed at packing, leaving customers unable to build the chair and prompting returns.
Solution: JFM assembled a complete chair from the intended parts, listed every component for one set and matched its carton label to the assembly instructions.
Result: The received chair kits held their matching parts, and the wholesaler checked and accepted the cartons for resale without missing-part claims.

FAQ
Specify the complete chair: seat, back, base or legs, connectors, feet or casters, upholstery if used, assembly state and pack. Name the actual material for each visible component. A PMMA seat on a metal frame is a mixed-material chair; PC is a different material and must be specified separately. A complete bill of materials makes supplier quotes comparable.
Send a drawing or sample that shows which parts are transparent. Approve the clear tone, visible faces, edge and joint finish, base color, upholstery and branding on the actual chair. We use those details to prepare a sample specification and price any requested material or finish change before production.
For clear acrylic chairs, the starting MOQ is 50–200 complete units, depending on the approved design, materials, hardware, assembly and packing, and quantity per model. Sample production normally takes 3–7 days once the drawing or reference, specification, appearance target and commercial details are confirmed. Send quantities by model and the sample configuration so we can confirm the applicable minimum and start date.
Approve the assembled chair as a whole. Check dimensions, the stated material for every part, transparent tone, visible edges, seams, upholstery, hardware, feet or casters, branding and fit. Keep the signed-off sample with the dated drawing, bill of materials and packing version; that is the comparison point for the order and any later repeat.
We compare first pieces, work in progress and finished chairs with the approved sample and drawing. The check covers visible PMMA surfaces, edges and joints as well as mixed-material finishes, hardware, feet and assembly. If a component or finish changes, agree on the revision and its price and schedule effect before the affected chairs are made.
Both formats are possible when the chair design permits. An assembled chair needs a larger protected pack; a KD set needs every part, fastener and instruction matched to the model. Choose the format during sampling so carton size, assembly work and quotation use the same specification. Loose hardware is separated from clear surfaces inside each carton.
Bulk production of a clear acrylic chair order is typically planned for 10–35 days after the sample, model quantities, materials, hardware, assembly format, packing and commercial terms are approved. The exact plan depends on the order. Agree on approval, production, inspection and packing milestones, then reconfirm affected dates if the chair or quantity changes.
Give us the previous purchase order and approved chair drawing, sample, material list, appearance reference, hardware and upholstery codes, assembly state, labels and packing version. State the new quantity for each model and identify changes. We can confirm which details still apply before the next batch starts.
